Breanna specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, relationship dynamics, or family issues, Breanna offers a therapeutic approach rooted in Narrative Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Her practice integrates a systemic perspective with evidence-based methods, believing that each person, couple, and family has a unique life story shaped by their experiences and sense of self. Breanna is dedicated to creating a supportive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment. She strives to ensure that all clients feel genuinely heard and valued. By blending compassion and empathy, she honors and explores each client’s individual story and emotional experiences.
In her sessions, she works collaboratively with clients to reshape narratives, focusing on strengths and uncovering new perspectives. She also helps clients navigate emotional experiences, deepening their understanding of attachment needs and fostering healthier relational connections. This approach aims to support clients in leading a more fulfilling and connected life, with a renewed sense of clarity, agency, and resilience.
Breanna combines her clinical and research experience with specialized training to offer a well-rounded approach to therapy. She earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from American University, where she focused her thesis on burnout among minority undergraduate students, exploring the impacts of discrimination and coping mechanisms. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. With experience in various mental health settings, Breanna provides compassionate, informed care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Breanna is passionate about assisting clients with a range of concerns, including depression, burnout, anxiety, and trauma. She also supports individuals through life transitions, relationship dynamics, and the effects of racial and cultural issues. Outside of therapy, Breanna enjoys hot yoga, mindfulness meditation, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
